This September, at the Southbank Centre in London, the Philharmonia Orchestra is launching it’s latest VR experience. Shot by Meta Camera and with a custom VR ‘conductor’ app too, people can experience ‘Sibelius’ like never before.
Up to 10 people at a time can sit within the speaker array and have a completely synchronised version of the experience. All of the headsets are controlled from a custom built app that allows visibility of each headsets status.
The project was shot over 3 days, first in Newcastle at the Glasshouse, with the Orchestra, then 2 days on location in Finland. The footage was captured on the Meta Three camera, carried by a drone or on a motion controlled slider.
